11.09.07 Prince2 Practitioner New Exam Format By
John Kellett
The new Prince2 Practitioner exam is in multiple choice format.
Don't be fooled into thinking this is going to make it easier. It's still three hours long and now you are tested across nine topics rather than the original three.
These topics are:
- Processes
- Business Case
- Organisation
- Plans
- Controls
- Management of risk
- Quality in a project environment
- Configuration management
- Change control
- Product based planning
- Change control technique
- Quality review technique
It is still an open book exam meaning you are still allowed to bring in any manuals, books and paperwork you want although the top training companies recommend you should only look at the manual twice during the exam due to time contraints.
You should also be aware that there is negative marking which means getting an answer wrong could result in you losing marks.
Once you register with APM for the exam you will get some example questions to download.
